FitMama provides 3 different specialist Postnatal Exercise & Education
Courses, outlined below:
Level 1 Postnatal:
As soon as you feel ready, you can sign up for
our Level 1 postnatal exercise course.
We welcome small babies on the level 1 course, and this is a great place for new
mums to network and share new knowledge about:
- Pelvic Floor Repair
- Core (tummy) Repair
- Postnatal Basic
Nutrition
- Understanding Postnatal Weight Loss
- General support and discussion
Level 2 Postnatal
Pilates:
Once you have repaired your pelvic floor and core, you are welcome to join us on our Level 2 Postnatal
Pilates course. Babies who are not mobile are welcome on this course. A great opportunity for mums to embark on
a more challenging postnatal exercise course and progress their recovery further:
- Pelvic Floor & Core Conditioning
- Full Body Strength & Conditioning
- Balance Control
- General well-being and support.
Legs
Bums & Buggies (warmer seasons only)
Once you feel you are ready for a bit more oomph in your workout, you
are welcome to join us with your babies/toddlers who are happy in a buggy, for this outdoor workout (come rain or shine).
- Cardiovascular Fitness (Calorie burner)
- Leg Strengthening
- Gluteal Training (better bottoms!)
- Pelvic
Floor and Core Conditioning.
Important Postnatal Information:
Please note that mums are responsible
for the safety of their babies at all times during our courses. At no point should your baby be included in any floor
based exercise, but should be kept safely contained closeby. Babies/Toddlers attending the buggyfit course must be restrained
in their buggies without exception.
